Dr. Harithsa Asuri, Dr. Aparna Bhat Class of 2016 Dr. Asuri and Dr. Bhat obtained residencies in the couples match to Saint Joseph Mercy Health System’s Internal Medicine program in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They met in Antigua during their third semester and rotated together as well. |

Dr. Nick Fuca Class of 2016 After graduating Summa Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Fuca began a residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital/Northwell Health in Staten Island, New York. He is completing his second year of the program. |

Dr. Asad Javed Class of 2010 In November 2017, Dr. Javed joined the Buz Standefer Lung Center at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Javed completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Javed is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. |

 | Dr. Mohammad Jondy Class of 2013 Dr. Jondy is a team doctor for the Detroit Redwings and the Detroit Tigers and a Sports Medicine fellow at Detroit Medical Center. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Genesys, Michigan, in 2017. |
Dr. Priya Kalia Class of 2016 Dr. Kalia is a first-year Family Medicine resident at DeTar Healthcare System (Victoria, Texas), an affiliate of Texas A&M Health Science Center. One of the first AUA students to complete the Graduate Clinical Core Rotation Certificate Program offered in collaboration with Florida International University, Dr. Kalia is passionate about preventive health and recently published an article about flu shots in the Victoria [TX] Advocate. A first-generation American, Dr. Kalia earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science—Molecular & Experimental Tract and minored in Philosophy at Texas A&M University. |

Dr. Kanik Kathuria Class of 2013 Dr. Kathuria completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, in 2016. He is a traveling Hospitalist with Apogee Physicians. |

Dr. Helmi Khadra Class of 2014 After he graduated Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Khadra began a residency in General Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is currently in his fourth year of the program. In 2017, Dr. Khadra received both the Rudolph Matas Research Award and the American Head and Neck Society Best Preventative Manuscript Award. |

Dr. Regina Krel Class of 2010 A headache specialist, Dr. Krel recently appeared in a video produced by Hackensack University Medical Center to discuss her area of expertise. Originally from Ukraine, Dr. Krel graduated Cum Laude from AUA and completed an Internal Medicine internship at Richmond University Medical Center (Staten Island, New York), followed by a residency in Neurology at Stony Brook Medicine (Stony Brook, New York), where she was chief resident during her final year. She completed a fellowship in Headache Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. From there, she worked as a neurologist and headache specialist at Angels Neurological Centers in Massachusetts, before joining the Neuroscience Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center (Hackensack, New Jersey) as a Headache Specialist. Dr. Krel was also featured on the AUA blog. |

Dr. Xian Li Class of 2015 After graduating Summa Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Li began her residency in Family Medicine at Northwell Health Glen Cove Hospital in Glen Cove, New York. She is currently completing her third year of residency. |

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and is currently an Emergency Medicine resident at Brookdale. He was Chief Resident during his final year of the Internal Medicine residency. |
 | Dr. Kittu Rao Class of 2016 After graduating Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Rao began a preliminary residency in General Surgery in 2016 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was married the same year and is the author of eight papers for which publication is pending. |
Dr. Faisal Siddiqui Class of 2013 After graduating Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Siddiqui completed a Family Medicine residency at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital in Seattle, Washington, and Yakima Valley Regional Hospital in Yakima, Washington. Dr. Siddiqui is now an Attending Family Medicine Physician at Kaiser Permanente Tacoma Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. |

Dr. Swaiman Singh Class of 2015 After graduating Magna Cum Laude from AUA, Dr. Singh began an Internal Medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is currently in his third year of residency and has been accepted for a Cardiology fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center/Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in Newark, New Jersey. |
