AUA College of Medicine, a division of Manipal Global Education Services, is the perfect choice for Indian students with a passion for medicine. Many Indian alumni are currently in residency or practicing throughout the United States and Canada.

Qualified students who complete premedical coursework at Manipal University in Manipal or American International College of Arts and Sciences – Antigua (AICASA) are guaranteed acceptance into AUA College of Medicine.

Pre-med to MD Program

The Pre-med to MD program is a 6.5 years program ideal for high school graduates and non-traditional students who are all set to pursue careers in medicine. They may complete the first two years of the program at AICASA (American International College of Arts and Sciences – Antigua). The rest of 4.5 years of the study shall be completed at AUA including 2 years of clinical rotations across the USA. The curriculum of the program provides a comprehensive approach to premedical training, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills.

BSc to MD Program

The BSc to MD program is a 6.5 years program ideal for high school graduates and non-traditional students who are all set to pursue careers in medicine. They may complete the first two years of the program at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal (MAHE). The rest of 4.5 years of study shall be completed at AUA including 2 years of Clinical Rotations across the USA.

MD Program has the Basic Sciences taught at AUA’s high-tech campus in Antigua, and the Clinical Sciences, which consists of core and elective rotations that allow students to apply their Basic Sciences knowledge to real-world situations at affiliate teaching hospitals throughout the United States, Canada, and India.

A Basic Sciences Integration Semester (BSIS) prepares students for the USMLE Step 1, which must be passed before proceeding to Clinical Sciences.

  • Personal statement
  • Resume/CV
  • Non-refundable application fee
  • TOEFL or IELTS test score (if requested)
    • The current overall cutoff score for the TOEFL is 95 (Internet-based total, or its equivalent on the Computer-based or Paper-based versions); and
    • The current overall cutoff score for the IELTS is 7.0 (overall band score).
