|Qualified American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine students can complete all their core clinical rotations at clinical sites affiliated with Florida International University – Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (FIU HWCOM) with FIU HWCOM faculty. This is an excellent and unique opportunity for qualified AUA students to augment their academic and clinical experience. Students in this program can do the following:|
Students who complete the Clinical Clerkship Certificate program will receive the following:
*Students participating in the FIU program are AUA students, and, upon graduation, they will receive an MD degree from AUA.

|Dr. Esmaeili is a board-certified orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon at the South Florida Hand and Orthopedic Center in Boca Raton, FL, and is board certified in general surgery by the American College of Surgeons. He was a hand and microvascular surgery fellow at the University of Connecticut and the chief general surgery resident at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in South Carolina.
