Vice President of Global Medical Education and Executive Dean of Clinical Sciences - Dr. Peter BellAUA is proud to announce that Dr. Peter Bell, MD, our Vice President of Global Medical Education and Executive Dean of Clinical Sciences was appointed to the board of the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP).
CAAM-HP is the legally constituted body that accredits medical schools and enables MD program graduates to practice in Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member states.

A board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Bell received his MD degree and his doctorate from the JW Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He spent nine years in the German navy as a medical officer. During that time, he was trained as a naval flight surgeon at the US Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Before coming to AUA, he chaired the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Holberton Hospital, St. John’s, Antigua.

Dr. Bell has excelled in his work as a physician, an educator, and an administrator and is well-deserving of this honor. Congratulations Dr. Bell!
