AUA has established three agreements with New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT): a Standard Articulation Agreement, a 3 + 4 Accelerated Program (BS/BA + MD) with the Albert Dorman Honors College, and a 3 + 1 + 4 Accelerated Program (BS/BA + MS or MBA + MD) with the Albert Dorman Honors College.

  • Qualified graduates of select programs at New Jersey Institute of Technology will be offered guaranteed admission into AUA.

3 + 4 Accelerated Program (BS/BA + MD)

  • After successfully completing three years of New Jersey Institute of Technology pre-professional requirements for the accelerated Bachelor’s degree, NJIT students will be conditionally accepted to AUA’s College of Medicine to complete a one-year defined curriculum. After completing the first year with AUA, the credits earned will apply towards their Bachelor’s from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
  • Qualified high school graduates interested in a medical degree via this program must meet the requirements and qualifications for admission established by New Jersey Institute of Technology.

3 + 1 + 4 Accelerated Program (BS/BA + MS + MD) or (BS/BA + MBA + MD)

  • After successfully completing three years of New Jersey Institute of Technology pre-professional requirements for the accelerated Bachelor’s degree, NJIT students will be conditionally accepted to AUA’s College of Medicine to complete a one-year defined curriculum. Before matriculating into AUA, students will complete a 1 year MS degree at NJIT or at least half of an MBA’s required credits.  After completing the first year with AUA, the credits earned will apply towards their Bachelor’s from NJIT. Those continuing on to the MBA will complete the remaining credits with a combination of online classes and classes taken during breaks from AUA.
  • The Master’s degree will be conferred upon completion of the degree requirements as defined in the NJIT course catalog following the award of the Bachelor’s degree.
  • Qualified high school graduates interested in a medical degree via this program must meet the requirements and qualifications for admission established by NJIT.
