The New York State Education Department has approved American University of Antigua to place its students in long-term clinical clerkships in New York for the next seven years.

“This seven-year approval by the New York State Education Department, the longest approval granted for the second time in a row to AUA, is a testament to the quality of education we provide at American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine,” said Dr. Peter Bell, President of AUA.

American University of Antigua’s mission is to provide a collaborative learning environment of the highest quality while granting opportunities to underrepresented minorities—fostering a diverse, academic community and producing graduates who have developed the skills to treat and care for others with compassion and professionalism.
