AUA 1st year medical student Shermaine Hutchins won the Young Researchers’ Student Competition for his research on Diabetes and Urbanization: Lessons from Global Trends for the Caribbean’s Future! 

On October 14, 2023, Shermaine will be presenting his research at the 5th International Young Researchers’ Symposium on Global Health, a satellite symposium of the World Health Summit 2023, held at the Akkon University of Human Sciences in Berlin, Germany. The session will also be held in a virtual (hybrid) format.
