American University of Antigua (AUA) is honored to hand over their newly-built conference center to the United Nations to host their 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) from May 27th to 30th. This significant event, held every decade, has attracted over 3,000 delegates from member countries, highlighting the importance of addressing the unique challenges faced by small island nations.

AUA, a member of the United Nations Academic Impact, was chosen for its state-of-the-art convention center. “AUA is grateful and happy that the United Nations has acknowledged AUA’s campus and its new convention center as a suitable venue for such a significant global conference that will draw world leaders from across the globe,” said Neal Simon, President of AUA.
