AUA College of Medicine and Royal Crown College Partner to Offer New Pathways to Med School
Aspiring physicians from Canada now have two new pathways to attend medical school, per the terms of a new agreement between Royal Crown College and American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine.
Students who successfully complete Royal Crown College’s premed program or have a competitive science GPA are guaranteed a seat in an upcoming medical cohort at AUA, per the agreement. During medical study at AUA, students complete a two-year basic sciences program on AUA’s state-of-the-art campus environment in Antigua, followed by clinical rotations at hospitals in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom and India.

AUA graduates from Canada have earned highly competitive residencies and, in many cases, return to Canada to practice medicine.
“Students from Royal Crown College have historically been driven, dedicated team players—the perfect fit for our medical school,” said university president Neal Simon. “I’m absolutely thrilled to establish this program with our partners at Royal Crown.”
To enroll in the program, students need to select one of the two pathways upon applying to Royal Crown College and complete interviews with admissions representatives from both schools.
