Diversity guides our M.D. Program
At American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine, we believe you have what it takes to be an incredible M.D.
Our holistic approach to the admissions process takes into account more than just test scores, and we can help you as you start your pathway to medicine.
Established in 2004 with the mission to provide access to medical school to a broader group of deserving students, our interactive curriculum, supported by the latest medical technology and small faculty-to-student ratios, helps students thrive in our rigorous program.
AUA graduates practice in major healthcare systems and physician practices across the U.S. and we are proudly responsible for graduating more underrepresented minority M.D.s than just about any medical school across the U.S. and the world.
We welcome future generations of doctors who aspire to serve communities of people who look like they do, who call the same places home, and whose lives have been shaped by the same experiences.

40% of our student body comes from underrepresented minorities.

96% USMLE Step 1 pass rate in 2017
17+ Scholarships are available for students; Including the Physician Diversity Initiative.
