Clinical Skills Lab
Upon their arrival in their clinical clerkships, Preclinical Sciences students need to be thoroughly familiar with the clinical skills that will be required of them in that capacity.
The Clinical Skills Lab provides students with an opportunity to gain valuable experience in communicating with healthcare professionals and working as members of a healthcare team. Under the supervision of trained clinical faculty in a safe environment, students gain hands-on experience by performing patient care and treatment, including a host of necessary skills and procedures such as basic and advanced cardiac life support, medical interviewing, diagnosing, and more.
After participating in this lab, students will be fully prepared to take on the challenges in hospitals and clinics.
