The process of becoming a nurse through the right school nursing, RN program, or BSN college is not an easy one. However, AUA has developed a program that not only gives its students the best chance to succeed, but also produces nurses that are fully qualified to work and obtain licenses in the United States.
The ASN program at the American University of Antigua is divided into six trimesters of pre-clinical, clinical, and elective courses. Coursework includes work in Microbiology, Psychiatric Care, Nursing Ethics, Patient Care, Obstetrics, Surgical Care, Emergency Care, and more. Graduates of the program will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination to obtain their nursing RN degree (NCLEX-RN).
Following the completion of a degree in nursing, RN certification, and possible BS program in New York, our nurses have performed beautifully in the American work force. We feel confident that AUA can and will provide you with the best opportunity to have a rewarding and successful career in nursing.
