Manipal Ranks Number One!
The American University of Antigua’s (AUA) relationship with Manipal University in India continues to produce many benefits for students and faculty alike. On March 30, 2009, the Times of India’s educational supplement, the Education Times, ranked Manipal University as the number one private medical university out of 150 private schools, and number two out of all the 256 medical universities in India.
Manipal continues to lend its reputation and vast resources to AUA. Our students can profit from our close relationship with Manipal University by taking advantage of the unique "twinning” program", in which students take their basic science courses at the Kasturba Medical College – International Center (KMCIC) in Manipal.
