Graduate Affairs Dept.

Alumni:

Approximately one year before a student’s anticipated graduation, the Associate Dean, International Medical Education and Director, Graduate Affairs contacts and assists the appropriate clinical students regarding the residency process.

As a rule, each student must maintain a functional e-mail account; however, this is critical for the residency application purposes, as after a student has registered with both NRMP and the Electronic Residency Application Service/ERAS, communications are via e-mail.

In order to compose the mandatory Medical Student Performance Evaluation/MSPE, one of several documents of the residency application, a student’s academic files are assessed and reviewed accordingly.

Both the Dean of Student Services and Registrar and the Associate Dean, International Medical Education and Director, Graduate Affairs assist students in preparing for graduation and post-graduation residency.
