Family Practice / Internal Medicine
Students start their clinical education by attending the Family Practice I / Internal Medicine I semester at one of AUA’s four locations in the U.S. Then students sit for the USMLE Step 1.
The program continues from there with students required to rotate through 44 weeks of mandatory Core clerkships and 31 weeks of elective clerkships. All rotations are completed at affiliated teaching hospitals in the U.S.
