American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine student Ryan Singhi is one of the few recipients of the First-Time Student Attendee Scholarship to the 2013 American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) National Conference. He will represent AUA at the conference, which will take place August 1-3 in Kansas City, MO.

The AAFP is the foremost organization representing family doctors and was a leading voice in establishing family medicine as a specialty. It has over 110,600 members throughout the U.S. and internationally. The national conference provides lectures, workshops, procedures courses, and clinics for family medicine resident and medical students. Over 300 family medicine residency programs are represented at the conference.
